Unlike other systems that rely on an ungainly sharpener on the sheath that requires you to remove the sheath from your belt, you can easily remove the ERT carbide sharpener module from the handle of the knife itself and put a fresh edge on your blade, then securely reattach the sharpener which won't fall out due to the magnetic retention design.
